Infertility Treatment Clinic
Clinic for male infertility treatment is a section of Infertility Treatment Clinic. During the first visit, participation of both partners is required. Based on the following diagnostic services, couples are categorized into five groups which respectively include obstetrics and gynecology, andrology, immunology and embryology and genetics.
Female Infertility Treatments: The following services are provided after clinical tests and necessary examinations by a gynecologist. Diagnostic hormone tests Diagnostic tests for female infertility Ultrasound Hystrosonography Laparoscopy and diagnostic hysteroscopy Following required examination, any disorder of the endocrine system, neurological disorders, infectious diseases, cardiovascular disease and other underlying diseases will be referred to related specialists in the center.
In addition, those individuals suspected of having an immunologic disorder will be referred to experienced counselors. Male Infertility Treatments: Following diagnostic services are provided after clinical tests and necessary examinations by an andrology specialist. Hormone tests Andrology tests for male infertility (semen analysis) Sperm-function tests Percutaneous epidydimal sperm aspiration (PESA) Testicular Sperm Extraction (TESE) Electroejaculation The infertile couples (both men and women) should be referred to a geneticist in order to evaluate the genetic heritage factors contributing to infertility, afterward, the following services will be provided. Counseling on the beginning and processing of treatment Caryotype and chromosome analysis Y-chromosomal elimination The results of all medical examinations will be assessed in a meeting with a cooperative team of gynecologists, embryologists and andrologists and the most appropriate treatment determined for each couple.
Subsequently, couples willing to go for ARTs are encouraged to consult with an embryologist. Next, the final decision will be announced to the couple and their ambiguities will be clarified in a meeting. During embryology counseling, the couple being fully informed about the suggested therapeutic procedure, success rate besides its advantages and disadvantages can participate to take the final decision. Duration for each procedure First visit: obtaining medical history, physical examination, investigating previous tests and medical records and determining required records Second visit: a gynecologist investigates medical records and consequently any disorder will be cured by medicine, medical tests, consultation or surgery during one or more sessions.
Otherwise, procedure for infertility treatment or abortion will be informed to the couple. The interval of one month between the first and second appointment is needed. The next appointment is subject to the treatment procedure. It will take about 15 days for implantation after IUI commenced on the first to third day of menstrual bleeding and repeatable for 3 times. A candidate for ICSI is given a maximum period of 45 days to complete the course and can repeat the cycle for 12 times.
